“Darian is literally amazing! Stop searching for a photographer and hire her now! She made my husband and I feel and look so comfortable on our wedding day (We are not photogenic at all)! We had to change our wedding plans last minute due to covid. We decided to elope to Yosemite and Darian agreed to drive 6 hours to be there for us. So far we have received our sneak peek of photos and honestly I think we would be happy if they were the only photos of the wedding we had! My friends and family are equally amazed. My sister in law said "these are the best wedding photos I have ever seen", and a coworker said "these photos look like they should be on the cover of a National Geographic Magazine!" “Darian is the absolute best! I’ve done 2 boudoirs and a couple’s shoot turned surprise engagement with her! I’ve loved every picture she’s taken and refer friends whenever I can! She makes you feel comfortable and is great at directing during the shoot for posing, fixing hair, where to look, etc. Darian’s so caring that she even cried more than I did at my engagement. Lol and I can’t forget to mention her quick turnaround time with sneaks peeks THAT night so we’d have the perfect picture to post and announce to our friends. She’s dedicated and professional! “I don’t even know where to begin. We had a small 28 person wedding (which includes Darian) in Joshua Tree National Park and I didn’t know what to expect for our wedding while looking through all of her gorgeous big traditional wedding photos. What ended up happening was absolute magic by Darian! We didn’t go into our day will a photography plan, she just did her thing and it was perfect! She had complete control and I have had so many compliments on our wedding photos. And compliments on Darian in attendance (small wedding so she was in with the family!) I’ve known Darian since high school and when she gave my boyfriend and I the opportunity to have a photo shoot in Big Bear in the snow, I was so excited. Darian gladly worked with us to fit her services into our budget and to travel to our venues. When browsing her work, we were drawn to her ability to capture formal, artistic, and candid shots. She took our engagement photos at the Los Angeles Natural History Museum and our wedding photos at the San Diego Zoo's Safari Park. Even though the venues were public and crowded, she made the experience fun and intimate.
She was professional, enthusiastic, and supportive throughout our whole process. She really took the time to get to know us. It felt as if we were building a friendship rather than hiring a vendor. Darian is truly the best! She is so delightful and her energy is exactly what you want around on your big day, it was as if she was a guest! My dad (the groom) hates taking photos but Darian was able to work her charm and capture the BEST photos of my parents. Not to mention capturing every detail from beginning to end.
