Have you ever wondered what Laguna Beach at 7am looks like? Now this isn't your typical touristy spot in Laguna. Even on a Saturday at the busiest time of the day, this beach is well worth the visit.

Courtney came out to California for a weekend full of bridal fun. Wedding dress shopping, engagement celebrations & of course engagement photos too! Our original idea was to do a sunset session at the beach but because of Courtney's busy schedule, a sunrise session it was!

Now this was my first time shooting sunrise at the beach. I didn't know what to expect. The morning of the nerves set in. I wasn't sure what kind of light we would be getting, how high was the tide going to be? Was it too gloomy, are we going to get rain?? My mind was all over the place.

We got to location and it was more than we could've asked for. It was overcast, no harsh light in site! Tide was low enough that we were able to shoot all over the beach and near the gorgeous tower, not many people around and the weather was great! It was a PERFECT morning.

Courtney & Nick ran up and down the beach with me. They were so playful and fun. No matter what I asked of them to do they were both in. From climbing on the rocks that were getting hit with waves, dancing in the water to cuddling up cliffside. I am so thankful for the two of them and the fun morning we had together.

This engagement session is one for the books...
